Financial Garrison is an independent finance and geopolitics publication based in Barcelona, Spain. The site covers the forces that move markets and household wealth like central bank policy, inflation, currencies, commodities, and the geopolitical events that ripple through all of them.
Who runs the site
Financial Garrison is founded and edited by an economics graduate of Universitat Pompeu Fabra with a long-standing personal interest in financial markets. The author is an active private investor with hands-on experience in global equities and derivatives, and writes about the same questions he asks himself when making investment decisions: what is actually happening, why does it matter, and what does it mean for ordinary savers and investors?
The site is a solo project. Articles are published under the “Financial Garrison Editorial Team” byline to reflect a consistent editorial voice rather than to suggest a large staff. Where outside contributors are added in the future, they will be credited individually.
